1. When did you decide to become a musician, is there any story behind it?
Serah: 제 경우에는 정규앨범을 발매한 이후부터인 것 같아요. 신스네이크를 처음 시작할 때까지만 해도 그저 밴드를 즐겁게 하는걸로 충분하다고 생각했는데, 단순히 즐거움만으로는 오래 갈 수 없었어요. 결국 우리의 음악에 대한 좋은 성과, 더 멋진 공연 등 밴드의 성장에 멤버 모두가 만족감을 느끼는 것이 중요했어요. 그렇게 첫 번째 정규앨범을 내고 나서야 우리가 만든 음악, 그리고 좋아해주는 사람들에 대한 책임감을 느끼게 된 것 같아요. 그 시점이 뮤지션이 되기로 한 시점이 아닐까, 생각해요.
(In my case, it was probably after the release of our first full album. When we first started Synsnake, I thought it was enough just to have fun playing in a band. But simply enjoying it wasn't enough to keep us going.It became important for all the members to feel a sense of satisfaction from the good results of our music, better performances, and the band's growth. After releasing the 1st full album, I began to feel a sense of responsibility for the music we created and for the people who enjoy it. I think that was the point when I decided to become a musician.)
Simon: 굉장히 감동적인 세라의 답변이군. (That was a very impressive answer from Serah.)
Randy: I guess Serah’s answer is good enough to speak on behalf of all of us.
Hyunjae: 오우 너무나 어려운 질문 (Oh, this question is too difficult.)
Eero: I decided to become a musician when I first stepped on stage at the age of 18
2. Where would you like to go on tour or vacation and why (can be anything, country, city, even the moon)?
Serah: 저는 부모님과 올해 가을쯤 스위스에 가고 싶어요. 어릴 적 부모님과의 스위스 여행에서 보았던 은하수, 아침의 갓 구운 크루아상을 영원히 잊을 수 없어요.
(I want to go to Switzerland with my parents this fall. I can never forget the Milky Way and the freshly baked croissants I enjoyed in the morning during my childhood trip to Grindelwald with them.)
Simon: Actually, I don’t really like traveling so much, but if it’s for a performance, I think Japan or Europe would be nice. Poland of course is worth visiting again! Warsaw, Krakow!!
Randy: I wanna go to Germany to try their nice beer and sausages.
Hyunjae: 이번에 폴란드에 간 것은 매우 특별한 경험 이었는데 우리가 방문한 지역에 동양인은 우리밖에 없었고, 한글을 발견할 수 없었으며, 말도 잘 안 통해서 완벽하게 타지역에 왔다는 것이 실감이 되었다. 길을 지나다니는 폴란드인들의 모습이 나도 신기해서 구경하곤 했지만, 그 사람들도 나를 신기하게 생각하고 보는 느낌을 느꼈다. 특별하게 가고 싶은 곳은 없지만 이 경험이 매우 신선했기에 이런 기분을 느낄 수 있는 지역으로 휴가를 떠나고 싶다.
(The trip to Poland this year was a very special experience because there were no other Asians besides us, there was no Korean writing, and communication was quite difficult, so we could actually feel we were in a completely different area from our country. While I looked at some Polish people walking around, I realized they also stared at me in curiosity. I can’t think of any particular country I wanna go to, but since this experience was very fresh to me, I’d like to go somewhere I can feel the same for my next vacation.)
Eero: I would like to go to the United States to try the food, visit famous amusement parks, and check out instrument shops of my favorite brands.
3. Could you recommend some artists we definitely should check out?
Serah: 윤마치라는 한국 아티스트를 추천해요. 아직 잘 알려져 있진 않지만 그녀는 반드시 유명해질거라고 생각해요.
(I recommend a Korean artist named Yoon March. She’s not well-known yet, but I believe she will definitely become famous.)
Simon: Day6, The Rose.
Randy: If you like metalcore, check out Polaris, although Hyunjae doesn’t like them very much.
Hyunjae: 딱히 생각나는 팀이 없으니 그냥 내가 좋아하는 두 팀을 말할래. 연식이 오래된 팀들이라서 어린 친구들은 잘 모를수 있으니 Luna Sea, Motley Crue
(I’m not sure which artists I should recommend, so let me just mention 2 bands I like. Young kids might not know them well because they’re old. Luna Sea, Motley Crue!)

4. Is there any artist that you would really like to collaborate or tour with in the future?
Serah: 제 꿈이 이뤄진다면, Electric Callboy.

그런데 꼭 음악에 한정되지 않는다면, 애니메이션이나 게임 영화 등에 우리 곡이 들어가게 된다면 좋을지도
( If it doesn’t have to be limited by music collaboration, it would be nice if our song could be in anime, game or movies.)
Randy: Not a musician but a collaboration with WWE would be awesome.
Hyunjae: 서태지! 어렸을적 동경하던 스타와 함께 투어를 할수있다는 건 정말 환상적인 일이야
(Seotaiji! It will be really fantastic if I can tour with the artist I admired when I was young.)

5. Do you have any dream / goal as a band and if yes what is it?
Serah: 신스네이크라는 브랜드를 오래오래 잘 지켜내고 싶다.
(I would like to sustain the brand, Synsnake, for a long time.)
Simon:
Randy: I’m very weak at answering this kind of question. Whatever Hyunjae says will speak for me as well.
Hyunjae: 처음에 신스네이크에 들어왔을 때는 큰 페스티벌 무대에 올라가 보면 좋겠다고 생각했고, 그럴 수 있다면 내 인생의 밴드 활동 중 가장 큰 성취가 아닐까라고 생각했으나 이것은 이미 이루었다.
새로운 목표라고 한다면 한국에서 제일 유명한 메탈밴드가 되었으면 한다. 한국은 메탈밴드의 세대교체가 이루어지지 못했는데 그 자리를 가져가고 싶다.
(At the first time I joined Synsnake, I wanted to perform on a big festival stage. At that time, I thought it would be the biggest achievement of my music career, but I’ve already done it now. Speaking of a new goal, I want us to be the most famous Metal band in Korea. In Korea, a generational shift in Metal bands hasn’t happened yet, and we wanna be the ones to make that change.)
Eero: 어렸을 적, 경기장을 가득 채워 공연을 하던 밴드들의 영상들을 보고, 저 또한 그런 공연을 해보는게 꿈입니다. 우리들의 단독 공연으로, 여러 나라에서 공연하고 싶습니다.
(When I was young, watching live videos of famous bands playing in crowded stadiums inspired me. I also dream of having such a live performance as our exclusive concert in various countries.)
6. What do you enjoy doing in your free time the most, except the music?
Serah: 고양이 릴스를 보다가 갑자기 어떤 주제에 꽂히면 구글링을 시작해요.
(I used to watch cat reels on instagram, or if I suddenly become curious about a topic, I google it.)
Simon: Taking a nap, drinking, managing my assets(stocks, ETFs..), playing Overwatch
Randy: I drink, cook, eat, watch movies and dramas, play games, and meet friends, just like everyone else.
Hyunjae: 운동 후 넷플릭스를 보면서 고칼로리의 음식 먹기

7. Are there any specific rituals / habits you do before going on stage?
Serah: 화장실에 가서 거울속의 자신을 노려봐요.
(I stare at myself in the mirror with an angry face.)
Simon: I try not to feel anything on purpose. If that doesn’t calm me enough, I pick a fight with 최현재쉑(Hyunjae, you bastard) for no reason.
Randy: No, I don’t do anything. I just think of what to eat and drink after the show.
Hyunjae: 목, 허리, 하체 스트레칭 / 주머니에 새 피크 3개 있는지 확인 / 신발에 깔창 깔았을 경우 계속 발목 스트레칭 / 조성민에게 내꺼 물 하나 챙겨달라고 하기

8. Could you describe your personalities? (You can talk about person next to you one by one)
Randy: Hyunjae is very optimistic! He knows how to accept reality.
Hyunjae: 여자멤버가 있는데도 불구하고 이런 표현은 이상하지만 이로는 가장 여성적인 멤버이다. 도움이 필요한 순간에 최선을 다해서 다른 멤버를 도와주고, 그냥 도움이 아니라 진짜로 매우 섬세하다. 폴란드 공연 첫날 대기실에서 랜디의 기타스트랩핀이 운송중에 부서진 것을 알게 되었는데 과한 수준으로 테이핑을 해서 고쳐놨다. 아마도 실제 스트랩핀보다 그 테이핑이 더 강력할지도.
(Because we have a female member, Serah, this kind of expression might be a little weird, but Eero is actually the most feminine member of Synsnake. He tries his best to help other members whenever it’s needed. It’s not just a casual attempt, but really dedicated and precise. On the 1st day of Ryucon in Poland, we found out the strap pin of Randy’s guitar was broken during airplane luggage transport, and Eero taped it with his best effort. That taping might be stronger than the original strap pin.)
Eero: 세라는 섬세한 것까지 모두 계획하는 계획형의 성격을 갖고 있다.
계획대로 흘러가지 않는다면, 당황, 불안과 스트레스를 갖는다.
남정네 넷은 그에 비해 ‘덜’ 계획적이다.
막상 일이 닥치면, 정하지도 않았지만 각자 자기 할 일을 찾아 알아서 처리한다.
세라의 반응과 리액션을 보며 우린 웃는다.
가끔은 짓궂지만, 일부러 당황하게 하여 놀리는 경우도 있다.
세라를 불안하게 하면 안된다.
(Serah is a person who plans everything down to the very smallest details. If something doesn’t go as planned, she feels nervous, anxious and stressed. The four guys in Synsnake are less inclined to plan. When something comes up, each of the four guys just handles their own tasks without specific discussion. We laugh at Serah’s reactions. Sometimes, we tease her on purpose to make her startled. Nevertheless, we shouldn’t make her nervous.)
9. Besides your position in the band, do you know how to play other instruments?
Serah: 기타를 가지고 있지만 인테리어 소품으로 활용중이다.
(I have two guitars, but I’m using them as decorative items.)
Simon: 기타를 만질 수 있는데 초등학교 밴드부 실력이다.
(I can play the guitar, but only at an elementary school band level.)
Hyunjae: 기타와 드럼을 만질 수 있는데 초등학교 밴드부 실력이다
(I can play the guitar and drums, but at an elementary school band level.)
Randy: 기타만 칠 수 있다.

Eero: 동요’는’ 부를 수 있다.

10. If you could learn any other language to perfection, which one would it be?
Serah: 하나만 고른다면 영어가 아닐까
(If I have to choose only one, it would be English.)
Simon: Technology will set us free. Nevertheless, English
Randy: Learning Japanese would be helpful for understanding the actual meaning and nuances better than through translated subtitles when watching anime.
Hyunjae: 일단 영어 먼저!

11. Do you have special techniques or things you usually do to deal with stress or low mood.(something that definitely can relax or cheer you up).
Serah: 스트레스를 받거나 기분이 안 좋을때는 먼저 이런 기분을 느끼는것이 정상인지 구글링을 해봐요. 왜 이런기분을 느끼게 되는건지 이해하게 되면 그 기분에서 벗어날 수 있어요.
(When I'm stressed or in a bad mood, I first google to see if it's normal to feel this way. Understanding why I feel this way helps improve my mood.)
Randy: No, I don’t have such techniques. I just get stressed and angry. That’s it.
Simon: 맞아 랜디는 화끈하게 썽내버리지. 무친 랜디
(Yes, Randy just blows up with no hesitation, crazy Randy.)
Hyunjae: 특별하게 스페셜 테크닉이 필요할 정도로 스트레스 받는 경우는 잘 없다.
(There aren’t many cases where I need special techniques to deal with such stress.)
Eero: 입을 닫고, 혼자 시간을 갖습니다. 시간이 지나면 점점 잊혀지니..
(I keep my mouth shut and spend some time on my own because it gradually fades away as time goes by.)
12. (To Serah) Your voice stands out strongly on the metal sound of SYNSNAKE , it's a really charming point of the band. When did you start singing?
Serah: 어릴 때부터 노래하는 걸 좋아했지만 직선적인 락이나 잔잔한 K-POP 에는 제 목소리가 어울리지 않는다는 피드백을 받았었어요. 일렉트로닉이나 사이키델릭 음악 쪽에 오히려 어울릴 거라는 조언을 들었지만 저는 그런 장르를 전혀 좋아하지 않았어요. 신스네이크는 메탈 베이스이지만 일렉트로닉 사운드가 많이 들어가서, 여기라면 내 목소리가 잘 묻지 않을까 생각해서 오디션에 지원했어요.
(I’ve loved singing since I was young, but in the K-pop scene, I received feedback that my voice doesn't suit straight rock or calm K-pop. I was advised that my voice would suit electronic or psychedelic music, but I didn’t like those styles. Fortunately, Synsnake is metal-based but incorporates a lot of electronic sounds, so I thought my voice might work well with this kind of music, which is why I auditioned.)
13. (To Randy) You are the band leader, what do you find most challenging about that position?
Randy: Songwriting is always the most challenging part. Especially because we have two vocalists, achieving a good balance between them is both very challenging and interesting.
14. (To Hyunjae) You are responsible of MV of the band. Which music video was the hardest to make / edit, and which one brought you the biggest pleasure to shoot.
Hyunjae:
가장 힘들었던 뮤비 : 플립
플립은 뮤비 촬영을 두 번 했다. 기획과 촬영 실패로 업로드되지 않은 다른 플립 뮤직비디오의 촬영본이 존재한다. 지금 신스네이크 유튜브에 올라와 있는 플립의 뮤직비디오가 재촬영된 뮤직비디오인데 이 뮤직비디오의 촬영 날 어마어마한 수준의 비가 왔었다.
로케이션도 역대 가장 먼 거리에 있었고, 날씨는 습하고 뜨거웠으며, 장비, 차량, 소품 등이 역대 최대 규모였는데 엄청난 수준의 비로 인해서 멤버들의 컨디션은 최악이고, 촬영을 접을지를 고민해야되는 상황이었다. 다행히 비는 그쳤지만 8시간 정도 촬영을 계획했는데 비로 인해서 4시간 정도밖에 촬영하지 못했고 어쨌든 뮤비는 업로드되었다. (어쨌든 해피엔딩) 앨범 발매 1년 정도 후 시점에 업로드된 뮤비여서 많은 관심을 받지 못한 것 같은데 플립의 뮤비를 꼭 봐줘라!
가장 즐거웠던 뮤비 : 새턴인더루프(홈 버전)
이 영상은 다들 가벼운 마음으로 코로나 때 만든 영상인데 새턴인더루프가 많은 사랑을 받기도 하였고 그냥 이것을 촬영하는 현장 자체가 다들 즐거운 분위기였다.
뮤비를 촬영할 때는 어떻게 해야 더 멋있어 보이는지, 더 적절한지, 잘못된 부분은 없는지를 계속 고민하며 작업을 진행해야 하는데 이 영상은 그런 점이 없이 다들 즐거워하는 모습 그대로를 담고 있다. 이 영상 안에 담긴 멤버들의 웃음은 모두 진실이며, 장난감 드럼세트가 부서진다거나 갑자기 춤을 춘다든가 하는 것들이 연출이 아닌 진실 그 자체와 완전한 애드리브만을 담고 있다. 그런 의미에서 이 영상도 1회 이상 시청을 권한다.
(The hardest to make: Flip
We filmed the music video of this song twice. Actually, there is another version of ‘Flip’ that wasn’t uploaded because it was not completed completely as planned. The one uploaded on our Youtube channel is the re-shot version, and it rained heavily on the shooting day. The location was also very far, the weather was humid and hot, and we used the largest amount of equipment, vehicles and props. Due to the heavy rain, we were all feeling so bad that I even had to consider stopping shooting that day. Fortunately, the rain stopped, but we ended up with only about 4 hours left, even though I had planned for 8 hours of shooting. Anyway, it was eventually well finished and uploaded (happy ending after all). Maybe because it was uploaded about a year after our 1st album’s release, it didn’t receive much attention, but it would be very appreciated if many of you could watch the ‘Flip’ music video!

The biggest pleasure to shoot: Saturn In The Loop (Home Version)
This video was made during the COVID-19 pandemic, but we all just enjoyed its shooting. This song has been loved by more people than we expected. When shooting a music video, we always have to think about how to look our best, what would be appropriate, and if there is anything done wrong, but this video captures us just enjoying the moment without any concerns. The laughter of our members in this video is all real. Scenes like the toy drum set breaking or dancing are not even planned. They were all just spontaneously done. For that reason, I would like you to watch this video more than once.)

15. (To Eero) What drummers did inspire you the most during your career / who is your role model? Is there any favorite brand of drum you prefer to use? Tell us more about your drum set preferences.

(1) What drummers did inspire you the most during your career / who is your role model?
너무 많아 고민이 됐습니다. 한 명만 고를 수가 없어 생각나는대로 적어봅니다.
(There are too many. I’m just gonna mention who comes to my mind.)

제가 드럼을 치게 된 인물입니다.
친구의 추천으로 X 라는 곡을 듣고 알게 되었고, 투명한 아크릴 드럼에 빠른 솔로연주에 반해, 드럼을 쳐보고 싶다고 생각한게 이 자리까지 오게 되었네요.
(He’s the one who made me start playing the drums.
A friend of mine recommended one of their songs called ‘X’. I admired his fast solos with the transparent acrylic drums, and it made me want to play the drums. Then, here I am.)

제가 구사하는 연주의 50% 이상은 이 분을 따라했다고 얘기 할 정도로 많은 영감을 받은 드러머입니다. 정말 많이 찾아보고, 습득하려 노력을 했었네요.
(I can say more than 50% of my playing style was influenced by this man. I really looked up so much and tried to learn from his style.)

16. (To Simon) Is singing with a growl difficult to achieve? What lessons did you take to get to the point you are today?
Simon:
고기 많이 먹고, 담배 많이 피고, 맥주 많이 마시고, 늦게 자면 돼요.
(I just eat a lot of meat, smoke, drink beer and sleep late.)
(상냥한 버전) 그로울링이나 스크리밍이라고 해서 뭔가 특별하다는 생각을 버려야 한다. 실제로 ‘그렇게 노래를 부르면 목이 쉬지 않나요?’라는 질문을 많이 받는데, 멜로디 싱잉을 하더라도 잘못된 방법으로 부르면 목이 쉬는 것이고 반면에 언클린 보컬을 하더라도 올바르게 부르면 목이 쉴 리가 없다. 올바른 발성을 연습하면서 그저 비슷한 소리가 나도록 흉내부터 내보는 것이 좋을 듯. 나도 평범하게 스케일 연습을 한다 goog gug mum no nay nah 등의 발음으로.
(Speaking gently - Please stop thinking growling or screaming is something special. Actually, people often ask “Does singing like that hurt your throat?”. The truth is, even with melodic singing, if done incorrectly, it can cause your voice to become hoarse. Conversely, even with unclean vocals, if done correctly, your voice won't get hoarse. You need to try making a similar sound by practicing proper techniques.I also do the normal scale exercises by vocalizing “goog, gug, mum, no, nay, nah” type of pronunciations.)
17. Recently you came to Poland for the very first time, how was it? Did you experience and discover something new, something that surprised you and stuck in your memory particularly?
Serah: 유럽을 자주 여행했는데 폴란드를 갈 생각을 왜 못했었을까요? 폴란드는 정말 조용하고 아름다운 곳이었어요.
(I’ve traveled to Europe many times, but why haven’t I thought of visiting Poland? Poland was such a quiet and beautiful place.)
Simon: 물론 폴란드에도 한국인들이 많이 살고 있겠지만, 우리가 당시 갔던 지역 주민(?)들의 반응이 재미있었다. There were two types of people: one who stared at us with great curiosity, and the other who desired to stare at us but suppressed that urge ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ 딱히 기분이 나쁘거나 그런 것은 아니었고 그냥 재미있었음.
(There might be some Koreans living in Poland, but the reaction of the local people in Krakow was interesting. There were two types of people: one who stared at us with great curiosity, and the other who desired to stare at us but suppressed that urge, LOL!!!!! It’s not like it made me upset or anything. It was just amusing.)
Eero: 마자마자 신기한 상황 보듯
(Yeah, just like they’re looking at some kind of unusual situation.)
Randy: I was very shocked that there is no iced coffee. I mean there is, but rare. Overall, it was awesome. The buildings and natural surroundings there were all beautiful. We liked the Polish food called Golonka so much. The beer was nice as well.
Hyunjae: 유럽을 처음 가봐서 게임에서만 보던 중세 성들이 신기했다. 용에 대한 전설이 있다고 주변 기념품 가게에서 용 관련 기념품들도 많이 팔던데 하나 사지 못해서 아쉽다. 일정상 그 장소에 오래 있지는 못했는데 다음에 기회가 되면 하루 종일 그곳의 건물들만 구경해도 재밌을 것 같다.
(Since it was my first time visiting Europe, I was fascinated by the buildings that looked like medieval castles, which I had only seen in games. I heard that there is a legend about dragons in Krakow, and I saw many dragon-related souvenirs in gift shops around the city center, but I didn’t buy any, which I regret. We couldn’t stay there longer due to our schedule, but if there is a chance next time, I think it would be nice to spend a whole day just for sightseeing there.)
Eero: 트램이 이색적이었어요. 맛있는 맥주, 하늘이 너무 예뻤어요. 많은 분들이 공연에 찾아주셔서 감사했습니다.
(The trams looked interesting. The beer was good, and the sky looked very beautiful in Poland. We were so grateful that many people came to see us.)
18. (To Serah) You are the only female member of the band. How does it make you feel? Are there any positives or negatives about it?
Serah: 여성 멤버라 그런 것은 아니지만, 밴드의 사무적인 일들을 처리할 때는 4명의 왕자님을 모시는 직원이 된 느낌이 들어요. 하지만 정작 중요한 순간에는 그들이 나를 구렁텅이에서 구해주곤 해요. 사실 많은 배려를 받고 있어요. 호텔 방을 혼자 쓴다든지 무거운 짐을 옮길 때 도와준다든지.
(Although it's not because I'm a woman, I often feel like I'm serving four princes when handling the band’s office work. However, in crucial moments, they are the ones who rescue me from difficult situations. In fact, I receive more consideration, such as having a hotel room to myself or getting help with carrying heavy things.)
19. YU/ME Management. It's a small, slowly starting up company. What are your impressions of working together?
Serah: 작은 회사지만 꼼꼼한 진행이 좋았어요. 무대 뒤에서는 친구처럼 대해주지만, 무대나 행사 진행 때는 아티스트로서 있을 수 있게 잘 도와주어서 고마웠다.
(Even though it’s a small company, I really liked the detailed management. They were good friends backstage, but they helped us do our best as artists during the performance.)
Simon: 먼저, 일정 관리가 매우 만족스러웠다. 너무 오래 대기하거나, 너무 촉박하게 움직여야 하는 일이 전혀 없었습니다. 또한 무대가 끝난 후 아티스트 입장에서 난감할 수 있는 순간들을 잘 캐치하고 통제해 준 점이 특히 인상적이었다. 예를 들어, 머천다이즈 판매나 관객들과의 인사 같은 상황에서 아티스트가 겪을 수 있는 어려움을 세심하게 파악하고 이를 원활하게 관리해 주는 모습을 보며 깊은 인상을 받았다.
(First of all, the schedule management was very satisfying. There was nothing we had to wait too long or rush. Also, I was impressed by how they controlled certain situations that could be awkward for the artists after the performance. For example, they effectively handled difficulties that artists might face, such as interactions with the audience or managing the merchandise table. They managed everything to be done properly, and I was very impressed by their attention to these kinds of details.)
Hyunjae: 굿 드라이빙 스킬 / 다음날 공연하는 사람을 붙잡고 새벽을 넘어 조식까지 먹고 방에
보내는 매니지먼트가 어디있나
(Good driving skill / What kind of management company keeps performers drinking until morning, has breakfast and sends them to their room while they have to go on stage the next day?)

(Despite my tricky requests, they perfectly prepared everything including the instruments and schedule. They even paid attention to our small reactions to figure out whether there was anything the artists needed to feel comfortable. 20. Are you planning to do an EU Tour in the future? What countries would you like to visit the most?
Serah: UK?
Simon: We don’t have any plans for a EU Tour yet. 불러줘야 가지(Regardless of our plan, we need to be invited.)
Randy: I wanna go to Germany, where people seem so passionate.
Hyunjae: 아직까지 유럽 자체에 대한 관심이 높지는 않아서 각각의 나라들이 어떤 분위기일지, 어떻게 다른지, 어디가 가고 싶은지 뭐 딱히 관심이 없었다. 하지만 이번에 폴란드를 가본 계기로 유럽이란 곳에 대해서 궁금증이 많이 생겼다. 아직 잘 몰라서 가장 가고싶은 곳이 어디인지 꼽지는 못하겠다.
(I haven’t been much interested in Europe, so I wasn’t particularly curious about what each country might be like, how they differ, or where I want to go. But after visiting Poland this time, I’ve become so curious about Europe. I’m not exactly sure which country I wanna go to because I don’t know much yet.)
Eero: 모든 유럽 국가들을 가보고 싶습니다!

21. What do you think about song ratatata (colab Babymetal with Electric Callboy)
Serah: BMTH와 콜라보한 Kingslayer 같은 느낌이 되지 않을까 생각했는데, EC의 느낌과 베이비메탈의 느낌이 잘 섞인 멋진 곡이라고 생각해요! EC의 곡은 언제나 중독적이에요.
(Before actually listening to it, I thought that it might be similar to the song ‘Kingslayer’, collaborated with BMTH, but it’s a great song that blends the feel of EC with Babymetal! EC’s songs are always addictive.)
Simon: ra-ta-ta-ta-ta-ta
Randy: It's cool, but I still like the songs on the Tekkno album better.
Hyunjae: 에스키모콜보이는 뭔가 기믹을 항상 활용하는데 라타타타를 보고는 머리에 항상 뭔가를 쓴다는 사실을 깨달았다. we got the move에서는 애매한 단발 가발, pump it에서는 금발 가발에 머리띠, ratatata는 빛나는 헬멧,,, 신스네이크의 새로운 뮤비 컨셉을 구상하고 있는데 단체로 뭔가를 쓰고 있다면 여기서 영감을 받은 것이다.
(It seems like Electric Callboy uses some kind of gimmick in their music videos, and I realized that they always put something on their heads. Funny and awkward wig on ‘We got the move’, blonde wig and hair-band on ‘Pump it’ and shining helmet on ‘Ratatata’ are the examples. I’m thinking of the concept of Synsnake’s new music videos, and if you see anything on our heads, it means I was inspired by this.)

22. Do you play any games? If yes which one?
Serah: Heroes of Might and Magic 3 and Tetris on the airplane.
Simon: Overwatch (My most 3 heroes are Sombra, Tracer and Zenyatta)
Randy: Valorant (Omen & Chamber), Assassin's Creed, Far Cry, GTA, and Resident Evil series
Hyunjae: 젤다의 전설 일주일에 1시간 정도 플레이한다
(The Legend of Zelda. I play about an hour a week.)
Eero: Hogwarts Legacy, Call of Duty, GTA5, LOL, The Last of Us, Uncharted, and Assassin’s Creed

23. If you had to listen to K-pop for the rest of your life, which group would you listen to and why?
Serah: Aespa!
Simon: LE SSERAFIM, NewJeans, BLACKPINK
Randy: Girl's Generation has always been my favorite K-pop group.
Hyunjae: 에스파, 그냥 에스파 밖에 안떠오른다. 에스파짱
(Aespa, I can only think of Aespa. Aespa is the best.)

23. Which band member would survive a zombie apocalypse and why?
Serah: 저는 제가 마지막까지 살아남을거라고 확신해요. 저는 인기척이 없는편이라 평소에도 제가 주변에 있는지 사람들이 알아채지 못하는 경우가 많고, 좀비들도 아마 제가 있는지 모를거예요.
(I’m sure I’d be the last one surviving. People usually don’t notice me when I’m nearby, so zombies probably wouldn’t notice me either.)
Simon:
Randy: As a huge fan of the Resident Evil series, I’m confident I would survive until the end. I also have some proper weapons for hunting zombies.
Simon: 우리 멤버들 구성이면 ‘Left 4 Dead’ 고수들 마냥 뚝딱뚝딱 잘할 듯
(Our members would be as professional as experts at ‘Left 4 Dead’.)
Hyunjae: 일단 나는 빨리 죽을듯. 식량을 구하러 간다거나 뭔가 위험을 감수해야하는 상황이 생긴다면 덩치가 큰 나에게 사람들의 시선이 몰릴 것이다. 그리고 나는 아마 용기있는 척 그 위험으로 뛰어들지 않을까.
(I think I would be the first one to die in a zombie apocalypse. If there’s any dangerous situation where we have to take risks, the rest of the survivors will stare at me because I’m a big guy. Then, maybe I would pretend to be brave and jump into the risk.)
Eero: The Last of Us 에서도 소리내지 않으니까, 좀비들이 모르던데, 세라가 최종으로 살아남을 듯?! ㅋㅋㅋㅋㅋ
(Even when I play the game ‘The Last of Us’, the zombies don’t notice me if I don’t make any noise. I guess Serah will survive until the end?! LOL.)
23 .What is your LEAST favorite thing about being in a band?
Serah: 사람들이 밴드 사운드를 시끄럽다고 여기는 것.
(The perception that people find band sounds noisy)

Randy: Haha, everything is great! I’m always happy! You have a nice day, too!
Hyunjae: 너무 이른 리허설 시간은 정말 괴롭다.
(Going to rehearsal too early is really painful).
Eero: 드럼은 무겁고 시끄럽다. 촬영 시 제약이 많다.
(Drums are heavy and noisy. There are always many constraints when shooting video.)
24. What is one band you would love to tour with?
Serah: Electric Callboy
Simon: 왜 투어 질문이 두 개지, 아 팬 질문 따로 들어온 거였구나
(Why do we have the two same questions about tour? Oh, this is a separate question from the fans.) Tour → BMTH, collabo → EC
Randy: Yes, that’s why I only mentioned WWE on the above, and now I can say Electric Callboy for the band I wanna tour with.
Hyunjae: QWER 함께 댄스챌린지 영상을 찍어 올린다면 우리도 틱톡스타가 될 수 있지 않을까
(If we can upload a dance challenge video with QWER, maybe we can also become TikTok stars?)

25. Do you think you will ever come to America and play some shows?
Serah: 다음 정규앨범 발매때는 꼭 미국 투어를 하고 싶어요.
(I definitely want to do a U.S. tour when we release our 2nd album.)
Simon: Someday sure.
Randy: If there’s any opportunity, definitely, yes.
Hyunjae: 다들 가고 싶다는데 나도 따라가야지 뭐
(Well, everybody else wants to go. That means I need to go along, anyway.)

26. What style will the new album be in?
Simon: 🏋️♂️
Randy: Still working on it, but I can say it will be heavier than Fluxus.
Hyunjae: K-popcore라고 불리기는 하지만 신스네이크는 메탈밴드다. 전보다 화끈한 메탈사운드를
들려줄 예정이다.
(Some people call us K-popcore, but Synsnake is a Metal band. You will hear a much heavier Metal sound than before.)
Eero: Randy가 작곡을 하니, 그가 지휘하는 방향으로 쫓아갈 것 입니다. 더욱 더 살벌한 드럼라인을 만들어 보겠습니다.
(We will follow the direction Randy sets while writing songs. I’ll try to play the drums more brutally.)
27. How do you get along? In my opinion, you are like family and that's why I love you.
Serah: 사실 우리는 밴드 일정 외에 전혀 만나지 않기에 별 트러블 없이 관계를 지속중인 것 같아요. 다들 성격도 취향도 다 달라서 밴드가 아니었다면 절대 친해지지 않았을 느낌? 성민과 현재가 투닥거리는 것을 지켜보는게 재미있어요.
(Actually, we only meet for band activities, so our relationship seems to continue without any big troubles. Everyone has different personalities and tastes, so I think we wouldn’t have become close if it weren’t for the band. It’s fun to watch Simon and Hyunjae teasing each other.)
Simon:
Randy: Sometimes, being too close can cause problems between people.
Hyunjae: 우리는 사실 완전히 비지니스적인 관계이고, 너희가 보는 모든 것은 연출이야.
(In fact, we’re completely business-like in our relationship, and everything you see about us is scripted.)

28. Will there be new merch? I'm waiting.
Serah: 다음 정규앨범과 함께 새 머천다이즈가 나올 예정이에요. 새로운 품목을 시도하고 싶은데 어떤게 좋을지 고민중입니다.
(We’re planning to release new merchandise along with our 2nd album. I want to try new items, but I’m not really sure what would be good.)
Hyunjae: 엘피판을 만들면 멋지지 않을까! 어차피 요즘 cd를 들으려고 사는 사람은 없으니 큰 게 멋있잖아? 마진도 더 크면 좋고 ㅋㅋㅋ
(I think it would be great to make vinyl records! These days, people don’t really buy CDs just to listen to, anyway, so big vinyl records would look cool, right? It would be better if we had a higher percentage of profit margin, lol!)
Eero: 마자 엘피 생각했었음. 리미트 에디션? 으로 LP!
쇼츠인가? 알록달록한 색깔로 LP 만드는 영상을 봤습니다.
정규1집 앨범아트처럼 화려한 색상으로 LP를 만들면 어떨까 싶어요.
(Right, I also thought about vinyls! Maybe limited editions! I saw a video of making vinyls with various colors, looking fancy. I wonder how it will look if we make vinyls with bright colors, similar to the cover art of ‘Fluxus’.)
